I canโt think about any other bands at the moment, so I write today about a band whoโve released just one song, which I only heard for the first time half an hour ago. But thatโs just what today has to be about. Rest In Peace, Alexi.
Thereโs something undeniable about Children of Bodom. Theyโre everything beloved about the thrash wave of the late 80s, just turned up to 11, and with a sharper edge.
I first discovered Iotunn only a week ago, but have felt so very moved by Access All Worlds that I was compelled to spread the word. This is an amazing band, and this album is a fucking masterpiece.
Tribulationโs signature sound, a gothic, progressive melodeath monster, is masterful and unique, and every bit deserving of the praise it receives.
Because of my history with Kittie, their importance to my nascent love of music discovery, and the fact their sound matured as my tastes did, they will always be a very special band to me.
